JOI cams: live jerk-off instruction

Performers who tell you how fast to go, when to slow down and when to stop, live. Think of it as a human version of Edge's pacer.

Rooms come from our partner Chaturbate and open on live.edgeritual.app. Links are affiliate links: Edge earns a commission if you sign up or buy tokens, at no extra cost to you. 18+ only.

Good to know

JOI stands for jerk-off instruction: instead of just watching, you follow a performer's directions — speed, rhythm, when to pause, when to edge, and whether you get to finish. On cam it happens live. Many performers run JOI as a public show for the whole room, with a countdown or a rhythm everyone follows, while instructions made just for you usually happen in a private show. Some rooms are also tagged CEI, a related but more specific kink, so check what a room is about before you settle in.

To get the most out of it, get comfortable before the show starts, put headphones on, and follow along rather than trying to steer from the chat. If you'd like personal instructions, ask politely about a private show and accept a no. Private shows are charged per minute in tokens, so check the rate and set a limit before you start. And if you want to practice the rhythm on your own first, Edge's JOI tools and stroke pacer give you the same structure for free.

Questions

What is a JOI cam?

A live show where the performer gives jerk-off instructions in real time: how fast to stroke, when to stop, when to edge and when, or whether, to finish. Viewers follow along from home.

Is live JOI free?

Public shows are free to watch and tipping is optional. Instructions made just for you usually happen in private shows, charged per minute in tokens at a rate set by the performer.

Can I ask for edging in a JOI show?

Many JOI performers love an edging game: build-ups, stops, countdowns. Ask nicely and respect the room's menu and the performer's limits. Our edging cams page gathers rooms where tease and denial are the main theme.
